Developments between Sudanese ports and the port of Jeddah

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Sudan Consul in Jeddah, Ambassador Kamal Ali Othman Taha, discussed with the Executive Director of Jeddah Islamic Port Captain Ali bin Salem Al-Mehry, ways of cooperation between Port Sudan and Sawakin and Jeddah Port and the movement of navigation between them and facilitating the procedures for Sudanese exports and imports through the port, in a way that contributes to supporting trade exchange and facilitating services for Sudanese citizens residing and visitors.

The Consul General expressed his thanks and gratitude for the good reception and generous hospitality, praising the pivotal role that Jeddah Islamic Port plays as one of the most important ports in the region. It also valued the continuous cooperation and continuous coordination between the two sides to serve common interests.

For his part, the Executive Director of the port welcomed the visit, stressing the port’s readiness to continue providing the necessary support and cooperation in a way that serves common goals and enhances brotherly relations between the two brotherly peoples.
