The National Umma Party blesses Kamel Idris

Cairo- Al-Zawiya Net- The deputy head of the National Umma Party, Lieutenant-General Siddiq Ismail, said that the statement announced by the party on the legitimacy of the government and the prime minister does not express the institutions of the Umma Party.

The National Umma Party, headed by Fadlallah Homa Nasser, had issued a statement declaring its refusal to form any government that does not have consensual legitimacy, or the popular mandate and said that the appointment of Kamel Idris as prime minister represents a “extension of the October 25 coup, which toppled the transitional civilian government.

Ismail stressed, according to the “investigator” that the party’s presidency’s institution took a decision with the blessing of Dr. Kamel Idris as prime minister, adding only to some reservations about the way he was appointed, and we have been committed to commitment to take steps in building institutions, and to avoid avoiding paralysis and open to the Sudanese people, stressing that this is the way of the Umma Party in dealing with matters, and he said we are trying to repair matters wisely and not what he does.

The Deputy Chairman of the National Umma Party pointed out that the choice of Kamel Idris received great external support, and a great welcome from the masses inside, and said that the masses are excited to transform a democratic civilian, stressing that the party had withdrawn the mandate from Fadlallah, Nasser, from the party’s presidency, and that the president who is designated now is Muhammad Abdullah Al -Doma.

He said that Nasser and his group run the party from Nairobi, adding that the Umma Party and its leaders inside Sudan and Cairo, and therefore any data that comes from abroad that does not express the party and do not recognize it.
