Anonymous fate of a French delegation in Sudan

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Communication with a team from the French Hande Cap organization was interrupted with the authorities in the Darfur region, amid fears of their kidnapping by gunmen.

Sources said, according to Darfur 24, that the organization’s team was on its way from the city of El -Geneina, the capital of West Darfur, to the Nairi area in the state of central Darfur, but that communication with him was cut off from one o’clock on Tuesday.

The sources stated that the team, which consists of five employees, “French nationals” and the other Sudanese, are eliminating two cars who moved on Tuesday morning from the city of El -Geneina on their way to the city of Nairti in central Darfur.

She pointed out that the organization’s team, when it passes the city of Zalingi, the capital of the state of central Darfur, met the competent authorities regarding the organizations and completed routine procedures.

The sources added that “gunmen in one of the gates on the road between the cities of Zalingi – Nairi arrested the organization’s employees to investigate their procedures at one o’clock in the afternoon, but communication with them was cut off after that.”
