The Sudan Consulate in Dubai announces important developments for the Sudanese in the Emirates

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Sudan Consulate in Dubai said that the consul, Ambassador Zahir Abdel-Fadel Ajab, met Dr. Azad Mobin, the owner and founder of the Indian Astr Hospital Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to discuss cooperation between the two sides.

The ambassador thanked the group for the great therapeutic services it provided to the Sudanese community throughout the period of validity of the understanding note signed between the two sides on February 17, 2024 AD, expressing his hope that this fruitful cooperation continues.

The founder of the group d. Mobin for his happiness and satisfaction with the experience of cooperation with the General Consulate and the provision of therapeutic support to the Sudanese community, stressing the commitment of Athter to agree with the agreement with the General Consulate and its refusal to conclude any side agreements with any other Sudanese component in fulfillment of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to renew the memorandum of understanding signed between them and ended since February 17, 2025 AD, for a new year and to continue the free treatment support for the Sudanese community in the country.

For his part, His Excellency the Consul General affirmed that the partnership with Astir is a successful model from which the Sudanese community in the UAE has benefited widely, where more than (80) operations were performed free of charge for the Sudanese at a cost of more than five million dirhams, and donating to ship my medicines for Sudan at a cost of two million dirhams, in addition to organizing nine treatment camps in the state at a cost of more than one million dirhams For free, more than seven thousand Sudanese citizens.

To launch the new agreement, the two sides agreed to organize the eleventh free treatment camp in Abu Dhabi City at the Sudanese Club headquarters next Friday, June 20, 2025, from ten in the morning until four in the afternoon, God willing.
