A tweet of the former Qatari Prime Minister hours before Iran beating Iran

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The former Qatari Prime Minister, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim, sparked a heavy controversy among social media activists as a result of a post published hours before the Israeli strike occurred on Iran.

He said: “In light of the current tension in the Gulf region, I would like to say that there is still an opportunity to reach a solution that satisfies the Americans and the Iranians, and allows avoiding a military solution, which is a devastating solution that complicates the situation in a sensitive area, which Israel may want to achieve certain goals and policies it has, and therefore it pushes America in this direction.”

He continued: “Therefore, I call for dealing with caution with this trend and seizing the opportunity available to reach a peaceful political solution. Iran is an important country in an important region for the whole world and must be dealt with with respect, in order to reach a solution that satisfies the American and Iranian parties towards the Iranian nuclear project.”

He added: “Also, our region does not need other tensions in addition to the many tensions around it that need to remove every flammable fuse. Here I am talking to our Gulf states in order to work hard to reach a peaceful solution that serves stability, economy and political relations.”
