Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Sudanese Prime Minister Kamel Idris directed the formation of an investigation committee to hold each palace accountable in the case of the Sudanese pilgrims, and the results of the investigation will be announced in the near future, God willing.
He said in a press statement that he had seen with great regret the painful scenes in which some Sudanese pilgrims appeared suffering from conditions that are not worthy of their dignity, after they paid their money to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, so if they are treated, they are not appropriate for the dignity of man, nor the sanctity of the place.
He noted that the pilgrim does not go to tourism or for a picnic, but rather to perform a pillar of Islam, and he must be honored on his journey to the Sacred House
He added, “I assure you that what happened is totally rejected and does not represent our values or our efforts to serve our people, and every pilgrim has the right to obtain the care and service that it paid for, and it is worth better than that.”
Kamel pledged that the best services will be provided for pilgrims in the coming seasons, and this file will follow himself directly with all the concerned authorities so that it will ensure that this insult is not repeated again.
He continued, “I say it clearly: I will not tolerate any corruption or manipulation of the rights of people, and I will be a follower of all the details, and I say to everyone who urges themselves to default you will find me in front of you in terms of not knowing, because serving people is honest in all of our necks, and I will not allow anyone to tamper with it, honoring the pilgrim is a legitimate duty before it is an administrative responsibility.”
