Sudan Electricity announces the return of the current

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Sudan Electricity Company announced today, Sunday, the return of the electrical current gradually to large parts of the state of Al-Jazeera, Khartoum Bahri and East Nile, as part of its continuous efforts to restore basic services in light of the current challenges.

The company said in a journalistic circular that the operation of the first stage of the vital group line in Omdurman represents an important turning point in the path of stabilizing electrical supply, noting that this project will positively affect the performance of the national network throughout the country.

The Electricity Company affirmed its full commitment to restore electrical supply services despite the great destruction that affected the basic infrastructure due to the conflict in the country. She also expressed her appreciation for the patience of citizens, stressing that she works at an accelerated pace to secure generation, transportation and distribution in areas that can be accessed.

This step comes as part of broader efforts to enhance service stability in light of the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in the country since the outbreak of the war.
