Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Informed sources revealed that Fares Al-Nour, Advisor to the Commander of the Rapid Support Militia, Muhammad Hamdan Daglo, “Hamidati”, revealed about 100,000 tons of gum Arabic that was looted from the Nahoud Market in West Kordofan, through the militia elements, for the purpose of exporting and selling it in the port of “Dana” in the State of Cameroon.

Smuggling the shipment via Chad and issuing a forged origin certificate

According to the sources, the looted gum shipment was smuggled to the state of Chad, where a certificate of origin there was issued to facilitate the process of selling it internationally. The shipment has already reached Cameroon, but the sale was stumbled due to the lack of recognition of the validity of the certificate of origin issued by Chad.

France rejects a certificate of origin from a country that does not produce Arabic gum

The sources confirmed that France was one of the international bodies that refused to receive the shipment or allow the completion of the deal, noting that Chad is not one of the countries producing Arabic gum, which made the testimony of origin unacceptable by global markets, and led to the disruption of selling the quantity
