Kamel Idris shall make an international call

Port Sudan- Al-Zawiya Net- Dr. Kamel Idris, the Transitional Prime Minister, is a phone call to Amamra, the personal envoy of the Secretary -General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres.

The communication dealt with the role of the United Nations in bringing peace in Sudan, supporting the peaceful process and the reconstruction of the war.

The Prime Minister expressed his hope that the United Nations will play a positive role towards achieving security and stability in Sudan, calling for the directing of the United Nations agencies specialized in carrying out their duty according to the mandate granted to it.

He sent a message through him to the Secretary -General of the United Nations that the United Nations should play a pivotal role in coordinating efforts to rebuild the country.

He stressed that the naming of the civil government ministers will take place within the next few weeks and renewed his thanks and appreciation to Mr. Amamra and the United Nations, wishing him success.
