A dangerous Ethiopian conspiracy revealed to Sudan

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The recent developments in Sudan revealed a dangerous conspiracy in which the Ethiopian government participated in coordination with the “Rapid Support Forces”, and with direct support from the UAE the goal of this deal was to enable the militia to completely control Sudan, in exchange for strategic concessions related to Sudanese and Ethiopian lands.

The plot included a plan to hand over the lands of West Tigray occupied by the Amahra militia to the Emirates, in exchange for the Ethiopian government to obtain financial and military support, including huge armament deals. The deal also included the Grand Fateh area, which is pure Sudanese land located on the border with Ethiopia, and is geographically adjacent to the western Tigray, which makes it within the geopolitical perspective of the plot.

On the other hand, the UAE was seeking to create a strategic corridor that connects West Tigray to the Sudanese apartment and ports, as part of its influence project in the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa. This deal would have gave the UAE a direct ground foothold, at the expense of Sudanese sovereignty and the sacrifices made by the Tigray people.

Although the refugees from Tigray were not forced from their camps inside Sudan, they lived in a state of extreme anxiety as a result of the security chaos caused by the Rapid Support Forces in areas near the camps, where an atmosphere of threat and intimidation prevailed.

But this deal has completely collapsed!

The Sudanese army, led by Lieutenant General Abdel -Fattah Al -Burhan, managed to strike the rapid support forces and regain control of large areas of the country, which included vital states such as Sennar, Madani, Khartoum, Omdurman and many areas. With the collapse of rapid support militias in these areas, the “West Tigray Corridor” plan fell, and the attempt to sell the Sudanese and Ethiopian land to the Emirates was thwarted.

Nevertheless, the West Tigrey issue remains essential. It is still under occupation by the Amhara militias, and the administration led by General Tadisi Wardi in the Tigrai region is still unable to take a crucial position, which angered Tagray at home and abroad, especially the refugees who are awaiting return to their land in dignity.

The people of Tigray, along with the free Sudanese, are calling for serious and decisive action, and an end to the state of stagnation and hesitation. There is no silence on the occupation, nor tolerance with the conspiracies targeting our people and our land.
