Kamel Idris, in his first tweet after his arrival, Port Sudan: Praise be to God, who has informed us this moment, the moment of returning to the homeland, I go back to Sudan today and I carry the concern of this great people, and I realize the gravity of the responsibility that I have assigned in one of the most accurate stages of our modern history.

He added, “I return not to be a load on the shoulders of the country, but rather a servant of a homeland, and seeking a unit that ends the war, and places Sudan on the path of stability, reconstruction, and justice.”

Kamel Idris arrived at Port Sudan International Airport today, in preparation for the department’s performance and officially assumed his duties in the coming days, and he was received by a number of officials.
