An appeal to take urgent measures on food safety in Sudan

The absence of effective regulations and proper waste management has led to an increase in foods transmitted by food, which endangers millions of health.

The research highlights how unsafe practices, such as excessive use of fertilizers, and poor waste disposal, contribute to the widespread spread of pollution.

In the absence of an effective monitoring system, Sudan faces tremendous challenges in monitoring and preventing these diseases. The study calls for immediate measures to enhance food safety laws, create monitoring systems, and explore sustainable solutions such as plant treatment to combat environmental toxins.
