A decisive statement from Prime Minister Kamel Idris

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Prime Minister Kamel Idris issued a statement regarding the statements attributed to him that he would form a government that includes the Al-Bara Brigades and the Shield of Sudan.

He said that I did not indicate any of this kind, and I did not issue any official statement of this content.

He added, “I would like to make it clear that I have not yet performed the performance of the official section, and I have not started any practical steps in the consultations of the formation of the government, and everything that has been rumored otherwise, has no basis, and my arrival to Sudan has been late for reasons related to the exit procedures, and not for any political or organizational order.”

He stressed that the President of the Sovereignty Council has gave me all the powers in forming the government without imposing or forcing it to involve specific individuals or parties, however, I do not deny or reduce the role of the Al -Bara Brigades and the Shield of Sudan, nor from their great sacrifices alongside the armed forces, they are the people of this country and partners in the battle of survival, and we are not better than them, nor do we forget the lives of the martyrs who sacrificed in defense of Sudan.

He continued, “But we believe that participation in the next stage should not be limited to a specific range or a specific category, but rather it must be comprehensive and represent the aspirations of all the people of the country.

And I confirm that there are clear and clear paths for the integration and demobilization process for all supporting forces of the armed forces after the end of the war, and, God willing, they will be given access to facilitated opportunities to join the military establishment through the Military College according to appropriate conditions that take into account their sacrifices and history.

He pointed out that the government formation process will currently include the peace agreement Juba, which imposes on us clear obligations that must be respected at this precise stage.

He called on the Ministry of Information and all national media to control the media discourse, bear the responsibility in reporting the news from its official sources, and to avoid fabricating statements or publishing false statements that may lead to destabilizing the citizen’s confidence, or confusion of the political and security scene.
