The Netherlands Embassy in Sudan announces human beings

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Netherlands Embassy in Sudan announced its pride in being one of the donors that support the work of the World Bank in Sudan through the Multi-donor Transition and Recovery Fund in Sudan.

She indicated in a post on her Facebook shirt that she, in cooperation with other partners, funds the project to promote the ability of local communities to withstand.

She noted that the project helps local communities to recover and rebuild, in cooperation with Mercy Corp, UNICEF and the World Food Program.

She said last season, the World Food Program has followed: More than 23,000 agricultural families supported seeds and fertilizers, which helped them grow 59,000 acres of wheat, as well as train 99 farms on post -harvest handcraft to reduce losses and improve food storage.

She also confirmed the training of 360 community coaches on smart cultivation, so that they can transfer knowledge to others in their areas.

She said that these projects are essential pillars to build the ability to withstand and recover in the long term in Sudan.
