(800) Cases undergoes Omdurman

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The report of the Ministry of Health, Khartoum State, revealed that there are (800) cases of cholera infection under extensive treatment.

He referred to the hypnosis (206) cases in (13) hospitals.

The epidemiological situation report revealed wide interventions in the side of cleansing the downs of drinking water and promoting health in the Greater Omdurman locality, and through the interventions (434) homes and distribution (1089) mg of chlorine, as well as (1736) beneficiaries of health promotion.

The report indicated that the insulation centers at the Al -Balak Hospital, Umm Derman, Asa’i al -Qayyah and Hijliya were empty of deaths, while field clinics received (13) cases, while the number of cases discovered through the fast response teams reached yesterday (45) cases.

The Ministry of Health appealed to the state of Khartoum to the citizens of the need to drink the water added to it chlorine to purify the drinking water (scrambled), and to ensure washing hands and food safety, as necessary preventive measures to reduce the spread of the epidemic.
