📝 Details:
Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Students of Engineering Diploma at the Red Sea University entered into a full sit-in to close the college until the implementation of the demands and the recovery of rights, due to the college administration’s refusal to cancel the fees.
They said in a statement that in an unjustified step and instead of reducing the fees for diploma students, similar to the undergraduate students, the Red Sea University administration has postponed the exams in less than 24 hours before the exams began indefinitely, in an arbitrary movement that ignores the academic rights of students and uses education as a tool for pressure rather than maintaining its stability.
The statement indicated that this sudden decision does not aim to find fair solutions, but rather an attempt to put out the voice of students demanding their legitimate rights.
He added, “We categorically reject any action that manipulates the future of students or is trying to impose an unfair reality on them, and therefore we confirm that the escalation continues and that this decision will not discourage us from defending our educational rights.”
The statement called on all students to join hands in the face of these procedures that threaten academic stability and strike the interests of the students.
