China announces a new and decisive position on the attacks on Portsan

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The State of China announced its condemnation and opposition to the attacks targeting civil and civilian installations in Sudan, expressing its hope to reach an early ceasefire in the country.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said that recently, the unmanned aircraft attacks have been targeted in the city of Port Sudan, a port city located on the Red Sea coast in eastern Sudan, which caused damage to civilian facilities, including the airport and the port.

Mao Ning confirmed at a periodic press conference that China calls on all parties to ensure the safety of civil and civilian facilities.

She added, “China has always taken an objective and neutral stance on the issue of Sudan. We hope that a ceasefire agreement will be reached in Sudan as soon as possible, and that the humanitarian situation will be reduced, and that the political process will be advanced and peace, stability and development will be restored in the country as soon as possible.”
