The northern governor is directed to take these measures

Dongola- Al-Zawiya Net- The Northern Governor, Major General Abdel Rahman Abdel Hamid, directed the necessary measures to protect the effects from the encroachments, especially those resulting from mining and theft work.

During his meeting with the Secretary -General of the Supreme Council for Tourism and Antiquities in the state, Al -Sadiq Awad, he stressed the need to include tourism within the twinning programs with the Arab Republic of Egypt, in a way that enhances joint cooperation in this vital field.

Al -Sadiq Awad explained that the governor also stressed the importance of activating partnerships with the private sector in the tourism field to achieve the desired economic return, and stressed the government’s keenness to involve the local community in tourism activities.

The governor of the state also pledged to support the tourism sector during the next stage, while working to develop his infrastructure and enact the laws and legislation necessary to regulate tourism activity and ensure its sustainability.
