Darkness in Sudan – Al -Zawiya Net

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The states of Sudan are witnessing a state of complete darkness in electricity due to a malfunction in the Meroe Dam, northern Sudan, which caused the interruption of electricity from the states of the “Nile and the Red Sea” and it is expected that the electricity will return during the coming hours gradually.

Khartoum State, Sima Omdurman, lives in dark because of the targeting of power stations, and the Sudan Electricity Company issued a statement that the transformational station of Al -Markatia, the Distribution War College station and the Mahdia Station in Omdurman to attack the marches caused the power outage in Khartoum, which increased the suffering of citizens and the interruption of services.

She pointed out that the Civil Defense Forces are making great efforts in putting out the fire and will later conduct the technical evaluation process to raise the attack and then take the required treatments.

To that, sources said that the power outage from Omdurman in general, came as an insurance that includes the Merkhewaat stations and the main warship station as a natural procedure for light programming that is used to usually for the purpose of technical treatments that started since last Tuesday.
