Sudanese airline loses $ 70 million

Investigation- Al-Zawiya Net- An investigation revealed that a Sudanese airline was subjected to great losses since the outbreak of the war in April 2023.

According to Baladna Airlines Magazine, the ancient losses of Sun Air amounted to 70 million dollars due to its two planes being destroyed on the first day of the war and the price is 60 million dollars, in addition to the destruction of its assets in Khartoum, its movements, equipment and offices worth ten million dollars.

Sun Air reached the highest operating rates before the war erupted when it succeeded in attracting passengers thanks to the ticket prices that it put at the time and operation of modern planes, and after the war it did not resume its flights to the circumstances it was exposed to.
