Kenyan newspaper reveals exciting details about the accident of the destruction of a plane at Nyala Airport

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Kenyan newspaper (The Standard) directed sharp criticism of the Kenyan government for its participation in a military operation that resulted in the killing of a Kenyan pilot at Nyala Airport in western Sudan.

According to the newspaper, the pilot was killed in an air raid carried out by the Sudanese Armed Forces targeting an aircraft controlled by the Rapid Support Militia.

The editorial of the newspaper, entitled “The tragic mission of rapid support”, shed light on the broader repercussions of the incident, noting that the pilot was on a mission to transport individuals and military equipment to the militia.

The incident, which had previously been revealed in international media reports, has sparked a wave of criticism about what was considered a direct Kenyan involvement in supporting a group that committed some of the worst atrocities in the modern history of Sudan.

The newspaper warned that this process, which reports indicates that it is linked to high -ranking officials in the government, is undermining the image of Kenya as a neutral peace mediator and a stable state in the region, and described it as an embarrassing target.
