“Meteorology” issues a red bulletin of risks in 8 Sudanese states

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Meteorological Authority in Sudan issued a red newsletter in which it announced the start of the temperature in Sudan, which exposes millions of displaced thermal stress to be a source of concern, as it constitutes a safe haven for most of the population.

She pointed out that the heat index to the height of thermal stress during the period from 9 to 13 May, where the levels of severe reserves reach most areas, and the levels of danger in some limited areas, with expectations of temperatures to rise to more than 44 degrees Celsius.

She emphasized that the high -risk states are “the south of the Red Sea, the Nile, North, Khartoum, Gedaref, Al -Jazeera, the White Nile and Sennar.”

She advised citizens to avoid direct exposure to sunlight, carrying a sufficient amount of drinking water while traveling to take care of weak groups, such as children and the elderly.
