Sudanese under the grip of the Saudi authorities

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Saudi authorities arrested five Sudanese residents and Bangladeshi, on charges of performing fraud and fraud by publishing fake ads related to the Hajj campaigns through social media platforms. These fraudsters claimed that they are providing housing and transportation services for pilgrims within the holy sites, which led to the exploitation of some who wish to perform the rituals of Hajj.

The General Security confirmed, in a statement Friday, that those involved in the Khamis Mushait Governorate, located in the Asir region, south of the Kingdom, where the necessary legal measures were taken against them and referred them to the Public Prosecution to follow up the case.

Public Security called on citizens and residents to adhere to the regulations and instructions related to the pilgrimage, stressing the importance of reporting any violations through the designated numbers, which are 911 for the regions of Makkah, Riyadh and the East, and 999 for the rest of the regions.

In a related context, the Saudi authorities repeatedly warned those wishing to perform the rituals of Hajj against drifting behind false advertisements or fake performances, stressing the need to deal only with the approved official channels.

The Ministry of the Interior stated that the pilgrims can obtain the necessary permits through the “Nesc” platform, while those coming from abroad must obtain a “Hajj visa” from the relevant authorities in the Kingdom, in cooperation with the digital “statement” platform to ensure the procedures of the procedures in a legal and smooth way.
