(16) A recommendation regarding the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Khartoum

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Chairman of the Committee for inspection of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Khaled Abbas Ahmed, confirmed that the committee has completed its work and submitted its closing report to the leadership of the Ministry

He said in a statement to the Sudan News Agency that the work of the committee spanned for a period of four weeks during which we stood in the field at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which consists of three buildings consisting of several floors that were exposed to the worst types of systematic destruction, as the rate of destruction and ruin reached 80% for the southern tower and 70% for the northern tower about 60% for the old building 70% for the diplomatic study center, while the new mosque reached the rate of destruction and ruin 80%.

Ambassador Khaled Abbas stressed that the report included about 16 recommendations for the rehabilitation of the building and indicated the importance of finding another building from which the ministry is temporarily initiated.

It is worth noting that the work of the committee included the buildings of the diplomatic club, in which the destruction rate reached about 65%, while the destruction rate reached 75% for the House of Workers in the Kafoury suburb and the diplomatic school is 40%.
