The situation in Al -Nahoud is now – Al -Zawiya Net

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Sources said that the militia penetrated inside the city of Al-Nahoud, West Kordofan, and looted commercial and governmental stores, broke the prison and released prisoners and criminals, after a great battle.

The sources said that the militia managed to impose its control on large parts of the city after the implementation of a double attack: the first in forces from the state of North Kordofan through the Wad Banda road from the north of the city of Al -Nahoud, led by “Al -Safna”, where the attacking force clashed with the defenders for more than four hours in which the “Safna” was injured and his forces were able to penetrate into the city before the second force intervened.

She noted that the second force came from the Darfur side and protected the first to complete control of the city.

The sources said that the army forces withdrew from the 18th Infantry Brigade, and that the city is now completely devoid of the existence of the army, while the militia carried out a large number of Mustafrin and the popular resistance.
