Details of the first phone call received by the new foreign minister from his Egyptian counterpart

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Dr. Bader Abdel Ati, the Egyptian Foreign Minister, is a phone call to Omar Siddiq, the new Sudan Foreign Minister on Thursday, May 1, to congratulate him on assuming the duties of his new position and discussing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

Minister Abdel Ati emphasized the close historical and fraternal relations that bring together the two brotherly peoples, stressing the full support of Egypt for the security, stability, unity of Sudan and the integrity of its lands.

He stressed Egypt’s solidarity with the brotherly Sudan during this delicate stage it is going through, stressing the keenness to interact with regional and international efforts aimed at ending the suffering of the Sudanese people.

For his part, the new Sudanese Foreign Minister valued the generous gesture of contact immediately after his appointment, expressing his great appreciation for bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the efforts made by Egypt to support Sudan, and the two ministers agreed to intensify communication and consultation during the coming period.
