Finally, the governor of Khartoum puts points and reveals the new face

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Governor of Khartoum State, Ahmed Othman Hamza, announced a new vision to regulate the commercial activity in the public markets in the state after its liberation from the militia grip.

A number of specialists, followers and citizens directed sharp criticism to the return of random commercial activity to the streets of Khartoum, and the spread of street vendors and sellers without organization, and indicated that the authorities should benefit from the capital’s absence in arranging the conditions in line with the civilizational face of the country’s capital.

The governor said during a wide tour that the vision includes preventing random activities and organizing markets in line with international standards and enabling the citizen to shop easily, in the context of the state’s efforts to restore life to normal after the state is cleared of the remains of the rebel militia from Khartoum and its declaration free of rebellion.

During the tour, the governor stood on the progress of the state program to remove the remnants of the war and the ruins from the center and east of Khartoum, the local and central market in the south of the state by dedicated companies that were able in a short time to remove visual distortions.

During his meeting with the local market traders, the governor praised the merchants to practice commercial activities, stressing this will contribute to encouraging citizens to return and provide their needs, pointing to the issuance of directives for the police services to spread in the state and reopen the police stations to enhance the prestige of the state and the rule of law and protect the markets.

The governor pledged to provide facilities and help traders to get out of the effects they were exposed during the war by looting their property, stressing the need to accelerate the completion of the tasks assigned to the companies specialized in removing car structures, transporting waste and sweeping dust, in preparation for the second stage that includes the installation of solar energy in roads and service facilities and vitality and work to restore basic services to the capital.
