The dismissal of the Sudanese Foreign Minister – Al -Zawiya Net

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Sources revealed that the Sudanese Foreign Minister, Ambassador Ali Youssef, was exempt from his post, less than 4 months after his appointment, and according to the correspondence of Al-Sharq.

Ambassador Ali Youssef was appointed on the fourth of last November to succeed Ambassador Hussein Awad.

Ambassador Ali Youssef was characterized by the number of statements and television interviews and the launch of many statements that found sharp criticism.

And Ambassador Ali Youssef Ahmed Al-Sharif holds a Bachelor of Economics and Political Science- University of Khartoum 1972 and a doctorate in international law- Charles University- Prague Czechoslovakia 1988.

It has been working in the diplomatic corps since 1973-2013, traveling between the departments of the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a number of stations, most notably Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Kenya.

Before holding the position of Sudan’s ambassador to China from 1993 to 1998, Sudan’s ambassador to the European Union and the Kingdom of Belgium in the period 2001-2006.

Then Sudan’s ambassador to South Africa from 2009-2013 and before it was a general manager of the Sudan News Agency from 1999-2001.

He also worked as an adviser to the governor of Khartoum in the period 2013-2016, and he held the position of Executive Director of the Arab Chinese Friendship Associations Association and then Secretary -General from 2017 to today.
