Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- A video clip circulated on social media showed that a Sudanese Airlines plane “Sudanir” had survived the destruction and lack of significantly affecting the clashes that took place in the region.
The plane began in good condition while standing near the company’s workshops at Khartoum Airport, and the Airbus A-300-600 plane has been out of service years ago and it was not possible to return it to operation and was offered for sale to benefit from its amount in supporting the company’s plans, but this matter was not completed.
The former director of the Civil Aviation Authority in Sudan, Ibrahim Adlan, estimated the losses suffered by Khartoum Airport and the Air Navigation Center as a result of the war by about three billion dollars.
He revealed in a statement to “Baladna Airlines” magazine that the losses of air navigation assets are close to 500 million dollars, in addition to 300 million dollars, not to operate for two years, while the operating costs of human resources remain five million dollars.
