Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The southern port in the Red Sea launched a group of modern equipment within the development plan for the year 2024, with the aim of raising the efficiency of operation and increasing productivity.

According to the port media, the new equipment includes “two machines to download and unload goods and are drawn to draw heavy loads and two trillion to support logistical operations and a specialized lifting machine with a capacity of 15 tons.

The inauguration was attended by a number of officials, including the Deputy Director General of Engineering Affairs, Ibrahim Yusef, Director of the General Department of Mechanical Engineering, M. Nader Mohamed Ahmed, and his deputy m. Abdulaziz Khalifa, and Director of the General Administration of Financial Affairs Muhammad Ali Allah and the deputy director of the southern port, Mr. Musa Muhammad.

The port department announced the experiment of equipment and ensuring its readiness for entering the service and is expected to contribute greatly to accelerating handling operations, reducing the time of waiting for ships, and enhancing the efficiency of operational operations in the southern port, within a comprehensive strategy to modernize the ports infrastructure and improve public performance.
