The Khartoum Water Authority reveals the volume of sabotage at the Buriite Station

Khartoum- Al-Zawiya Net- The Khartoum Water Authority accused the rapid support militias and its assisting gangs of carrying out systematic sabotage and theft of wide-ranging in a sea water station, which led to its fully stopping work.

The commission stated in a statement that sabotage included a comprehensive destruction of the chlorine unit and chlorine injection units, the destruction of cables to steal copper, the destruction of water pumps and water transfers, stealing the electricity keys, destroying the quality control factory for water, emptying the polyuminous chloride (the bak), sabotaging the motors, stealing the cables, destroying the Escada building and stealing The control and destruction system of computers, digging the walls to steal cables and electricity switches, burning administrative and technical buildings, stealing and destroying vehicles and mechanisms, stealing and destroying electricity generators.

Engineer, Muhammad Ali Al -Ajab, Director General of Water, stated that the Bahri station, which is one of the largest stations operating in Sudan, produces 300 thousand cubic meters of water per day, and feeds the city of Greater Bahri, parts of the east of the Nile and the presses in Khartoum, has been subjected to a comprehensive sabotage.

Al -Ajab stressed that rehabilitating the station requires great and urgent financial efforts and support to restore the station to what it was. He added that the authority has started implementing an emergency plan by digging and operating wells in a Bahri locality to try to cover the water supply deficit of citizens in preparation for their return to their homes.

The Director General of Wonderful Water, accompanied by a team of water specialists in the field of water yesterday morning, visited the drinking water station in Bquari to determine the damage caused by the occupation of the rapid support militias and its assistants to the station. The Khartoum Water Authority condemned this sabotage, and considered it a war against citizens, threatening the lives of millions of residents.
