In a phone conversation .. Russia informs the UAE an important position on Sudan

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Russian Deputy Foreign Minister SV Versinine held a phone conversation with Emirati Minister of State Ahmed Sayegh upon his request.

The conversation paid great attention to the situation in Sudan and the coordination of international efforts to achieve a peaceful settlement of the conflict in that country.

The Russian side affirmed its commitment to transfer the armed confrontation in Sudan to the negotiating channel while respecting the basic principles of sovereignty and the integrity of the state’s lands and not to interfere in its internal affairs.

During the conversation, various aspects of interaction between Russia and the United Arab Emirates were discussed on international platforms, especially the United Nations.
