Sudan opens the gates of three water tanks and warns

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The General Administration of Tanks at the Sudanese Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources announced the start of the gradual opening of the doors of the cabinets of the Alaa Atbara and Sitti complex, along with the Khashm al-Qarba tank, with the aim of passing the quantities of flooding water coming from the Ethiopian highlands.

Eng. Mu’tasim Al -Awad Muhammad, Director General of Tanks Department at the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources, appealed to the citizens behind the Alaa Atbara, Sittit and Khashm al -Qarba tank, to take care and caution, and take the necessary measures in order to preserve their lives and property, as a result of the high levels of the river behind these tanks, even the city of Atbara.

What is the high cabinet of Atbara and Stet

Sadi Alaa Atabra and Sittit are considered a complex of the two dusty two saints with a mud core and a common storage lake, one of which is based on the upper Atbara River and the other on the Citette River in the states of Kassala and Qadarif in Sudan to provide drinking water for the Gedaref region and irrigation water for the new Halfa agricultural project and other new projects related to them along with the production of electric energy.

The complex is located 460 km from Khartoum, 20 km from the Muqrin of the Atbara and Stet River and 80 km south of Khashm Al -Qarba Khasaba.
