The sources indicated, according to Al -Sharq, that the ministries of minerals and finances of Menawi and Gabriel were kept, and that the dispute between the government and the parties of Juba was confined only to the Ministry of Social Development of Gabriel.

 

 

 

 

The Justice and Equality Movement denies the existence of a final agreement

Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Sudanese Justice and Equality Movement, Mohamed Zakaria, confirmed in exclusive statements to Al -Sharq channel, that the ongoing consultations regarding the new ministerial formation have not yet reached a final agreement regarding the distribution of ministerial portfolios.

 

 

 

 

Zakaria explained that the parties to the Darfur path demand to maintain the same number of ministries that were allocated to them before the government was dissolved, stressing that negotiation is still continuing between the path and both the army and the prime minister, without a final resolution until the moment.

 

 

Revealing the existence of proposals to reduce ministries

He pointed to the existence of proposals from other parties to reduce the number of ministries or amend their type, but the Darfur path refuses to reduce its representation and adhere to the distribution approved by the Juba Agreement.

 

 

 

 

 

Zakaria added that there is an initial consensus on granting the Darfur path five ministries in the upcoming government, without disclosing the details of the bags or their nature.

 

 

 

 

These statements come in light of the acceleration of consultations to form a new transitional government, amid demands from multiple political forces to ensure a fair and comprehensive representation in the institutions of government.
