Hajj Majid appealed to the Council of Sovereignty and Prime Minister, along with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Secretary -General of the Expatriate Agency, urging them to help hundreds of Sudanese families who wish to return from Libya to the country.

He said in a publication that thousands of Sudanese and their families were forced by the war of the Jenjouid militia to migrate to the neighboring sisterly state of Libya in search of security and safety, and they found a good reception and welcoming from their Libyan brothers, but the way they immigrated to most of them had to obtain job opportunities that help them to face the requirements of life, and international organizations did not provide them with any aid despite the fact that some of them registered with the High Commissioner United Nations refugees.

He added, “According to the information I receive, many of the migratory Sudanese families have faced and still face difficult conditions and live in severe suffering in a number of regions of Libya.”

He continued, “This honorable professor has asked me to put his appeal in the name of all those wishing to return before the Sovereign Council, the Prime Minister and the rest of the competent authorities to arrange and facilitate their return with the hurry of what is possible, and here I do and I hope that his message and appeal to the competent authorities will reach.”
