Internet service interruption in Sudan

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Media sources said the Internet service that has been cut off throughout Sudan, without knowing the reasons until now, while a citizen of the Gedaref told (Al-Zawiya Net) that he works on the ground Internet in his office.

The Prime Minister, Dr. Kamel Idris, stressed the importance of developing the infrastructure of the country’s communications sector, considering that communications and digital transformation are the first elements of development and building the state on modern foundations, and expressed the interest of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in the file of the advancement of this sector.

Upon his meeting with his office in the city of Port Sudan, Dr. Al -Sadiq Jamal Al -Din, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications and Digital Transformation, reviewed the total conditions in the Ministry, and learn about the challenges facing the sector, especially in light of the systematic destruction of the infrastructure that the terrorist rapid support militia pursued.

The Undersecretary of Communications said in a statement to Sauna that he listened to the directives of the Prime Minister, especially with regard to the development of Viber networks to benefit from them in the field of e -learning, pay attention to the fields of artificial intelligence, develop the fifth generation networks, and pay attention to the mail, indicating that the Prime Minister confirmed his support for digital transformation.

Dr. Al -Sadiq added that the Prime Minister’s directives will have a positive impact on the sector, confirming the ministry’s keenness to enforce it, especially as it establishes a solid starting base towards digital transformation.
