Egyptian Saudi talks on Sudan

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Ati and his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, discussed during a phone call in Sudan and the Arab Mashreq region, preferred for the intensive contacts taking place to stabilize the ceasefire between Iran and Israel and resume negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program, and in a way that contributes to reducing escalation and achieving calm.

The two ministers emphasized the depth of bilateral relations, fraternal and historical ties and ties that link the two brotherly countries and the great development they witness in light of the directives issued by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which is reflected in the distinguished cooperation and continuous coordination between the two countries, whether in all areas of bilateral cooperation or at the level of regional and international files that concern the two countries.

The communication has reflected the consensus and harmony in the visions and attitudes between the two brotherly countries, and the common desire to develop bilateral relations and work to find political and diplomatic solutions to the crises that the region and the world rippped.

In this context, the two ministers discussed the developments of the situation in the region, especially the developments of the Palestinian issue and the catastrophic conditions in the Gaza Strip, where the two ministers touched on the ongoing efforts to resume the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and Minister Abdel -Ati reviewed the intense contacts that Egypt is making with all parties to the ceasefire and ensuring the enforcement of humanitarian aid to the sector.

A discussion took place on the Early Recovery and Reconstruction Conference in Gaza, which is to be hosted by Egypt after reaching the ceasefire in cooperation with the United Nations and the Palestinian government.

The two ministers agreed to continue the consultation and coordination between them in a way that achieves common interests and support security and stability in the region, in implementation of the directives of the leaders of the two countries, and to reflect the depth of eternal relations that bring together the two peoples and the two brotherly countries as the wings of the Arab and Islamic nations.
