The Sudanese winners of the American “Lottery” issue a statement

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- A group of Sudanese winners of the American Immigration Bara (Lottery) for the year 2025 AD and 2026 AD issued a statement that addressed the Sudanese Foreign Ministry and Sudan’s ambassador to Washington.

They said that the decision to ban visas to the citizens of the Republic of Sudan was shocking and painful, because of the severe material, psychological and moral damages, after they completed within many months all the requirements and legal and administrative procedures, and they made in this way a great effort and exorbitant costs, in an effort to achieve a legitimate dream achieved for them through a transparent legal draw, which gave us the right to build a better future for us and our families, and contribute to our families Development of our homeland Sudan.

They affirmed the winners of this lottery their full and unconditional readiness to comply with any additional security requirements or measures decided by the American authorities, from accurate tests, special interviews, or any other requirements, in order to achieve the security and safety of the United States and its people.

They appealed to the foreign minister, the Sudanese ambassador to Washington, and all the concerned authorities, to quickly make efforts and move to communicate with the American government and the relevant authorities, similar to what happened with other countries, the ban was lifted, in order to end this unjust decision, which threatens to waste a historical opportunity for hundreds of Sudanese families, which is not repeated, especially in light of the difficult economic and political conditions that our country is going through.

They demanded the leaders and members of the Sudanese community in the United States to play their national and humanitarian role to support this issue, and to communicate our voice to the competent authorities, as a general national issue of concern to all of Sudan, not only a group of individuals, and affects the present and future of our people.
