Large flows from Ethiopia to Gedaref and Blue Nile

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Al-Zain Ibrahim Hussein, the ambassador of Sudan and the permanent representative of the African Union, told Habibto and I am the head of the International Immigration Organization Mission in Ethiopia, that large numbers of refugees began to flow on the states of the Blue Nile and Qadarf after the security of security and the start of normalizing their lives and practicing their work in agriculture, trade and grazing under the supervision of the authorities in those border states.

The meeting dealt with the role of the organization and the Sudanese refugees in Ethiopia. The meeting also dealt with the advanced situation of Sudanese citizens in Ethiopia who were displaced by the war and the efforts made by the International Organization for Migration to support their safe movement.

The ambassador called for the importance of joint coordination in following up this matter and the commitment of the diplomatic and humanitarian sides to ensure the affected people obtain the assistance they need.

The Ambassador also urged the International Organization for Migration, in coordination with the High Commissioner for Refugees and partners to intensify efforts to provide logistical protection and support and contribute to voluntary return.
