Sudan submits an “restraint” invitation

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Sudan renewed its call to all parties concerned in the crisis of the Iranian nuclear file to restrain and avoid escalation, stressing that the only way to address the differences is dialogue and peaceful negotiating path.

This came in the statement presented by His Excellency Ambassador Magdi Ahmed Mufaddal, the permanent representative of Sudan to the United Nations and international organizations in Vienna in front of the emergency meeting of the Council of the International Atomic Energy Governor, which was held against the backdrop of recent developments in the region.

His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his deep concern about the recent escalation in the region after the attacks of the United States of America on nuclear facilities in Iran and the Israeli attacks on Iran since June 13, 2025.

In the same context, Sudan called on the Agency and the international community to enhance and intensify efforts to join all the countries of the Middle East to the Nuclear Displacement Treaty, and to subject all nuclear facilities in the region to the comprehensive guarantees system of the International Atomic Energy Agency, including Israeli nuclear facilities.
