Kanb- Bakri Othman under the title “His Excellency the Prime Minister … Why do not we look high to the sky as the visitors of the Paris Aviation Show do 2025?” Saying: Sir, the Minister
You know your sovereignty that the civil aviation sector represents an indispensable strategic tributary in the national economy of any country, because of its utmost importance in promoting international linkage, supporting trade, stimulating tourism, and attracting foreign investments that directly contribute to increasing national income with difficult currencies.
The countries that have paid special attention to this sector, such as Ethiopia and Egypt in the region, Turkey and Qatar at the global level, have achieved great economic successes by developing their airports to become global connection centers, and support their strong national vectors that link multiple destinations around the world and are a model for practical experiences to follow.
In Ethiopia, the state invested extensively in the national carrier and airport infrastructure, which made it a regional aviation center and an important tributary of the national economy. As for Egypt, it has singled out a special ministry for civil aviation, which helped to organize and develop the sector, and raise its contribution to the national product. Türkiye and Qatar invested in advanced airports and strong national airlines, which made the aviation sector one of the most important sources of national income, tourism and investment.
In Sudan, despite the challenges facing the aviation sector represented in the weak infrastructure and the lack of cadres, especially after the war and the destruction that it caused to what we require us and we look forward to the government of hope, a review of the previous experiences of the singer of this sector, its study and its scrutiny and the definition of the obstacles that contributed to its confusion and the disruption of its career to catch up with the accelerated development in the world now, so we have become the list of the list in all that is related to this sector
The national carrier of the state represents the other side of the currency, and plays an integrated role with the cultivation of this sector in supporting the national economy, stimulating tourism, and attracting global investments if there is a little attention from the state to activate its role and support its fleet
Mr. Minister
We put in your hands some of the proposals that we see that they contribute to a degree to correcting the path and evaluating it
– Reconsidering the structure of the sector, given the experiences of some countries in the region and around the world and in line with international standards according to global agreements that guarantee its independence and to ensure the effective planning and organization to carry out the following roles:
Developing the infrastructure of airports and equipping it with the latest technology to ensure safety and efficiency
Support the national carrier, Sudanese Airlines, and its activation to play its role.
Adopting motivational policies to attract and encourage local and foreign investments in the aviation sector and related services.
– Enhancing training and qualification for technical and administrative cadres in the field of aviation.
Develop a comprehensive plan to promote tourism and link it to the aviation sector as an important economic tributary.
Improving financial resources management and transparency in the revenues of the airspace and the sector as a whole to ensure the sustainability of financing.
Looking at the sky with ambition and investment in the aviation sector is a key to enhancing Sudan’s economy, and opening new horizons for growth and development.
And please accept very respect and appreciation.
