It happened in “Aqaba” on the Port Sudan Road

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Red Traffic Police forces in the state of the Red Sea, in eastern Sudan, managed to reopen the Aqaba road after a disrupted truck caused the closure of the path leading from Port Sudan to the rest of the country, where the road was opened completely and the trucks were opened.

Colonel Adam Zakaria, Director of High Passion in the Red Sea State, said that the accident occurred as a result of a heavy truck sliding and its deviation from its path in the slope of Aqaba, which led to its interruption in an accidental manner that caused a complete closure of the path heading of the other states, which is the only land road linking the Red Sea state and the rest of Sudan.

He noted that the traffic forces moved immediately after receiving the report, as travel bores and vehicles were promoted in the opposite direction in a traffic patrol to the Senkat area to secure traffic, while trucks were temporarily seized in the Suakin sector until the road was reopened

He explained that the field support team used a specialized starch to withdraw the disrupted truck and evacuate the road, confirming the success of the process without registering any human or material losses
