The Sudanese community arrives in Türkiye

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the arrival of members of the Sudanese community in Iran and their families to Türkiye, in implementation of the evacuation plan prepared by the ministry in light of the continuous Israeli “attacks” on Iran.

The Foreign Ministry explained that the Sudan embassies in Tehran and Ankara, and the General Consulate in Istanbul took over the coordination of the evacuation process, and provided ways of care and attention to the citizens whose evacuation was complete.

Ambassador Nader Youssef, the Sudanese ambassador to Türkiye, discussed with Muhammad Salim, the Turkish Deputy Minister of Interior, to follow up the granting of human residence for the Sudanese stranded in Türkiye.

The embassy said that the meeting touched on arrangements for evacuating the Sudanese from Iran to Sudan through Turkish territory, and the Turkish Deputy Minister of Interior promised to give the two files the utmost importance and provide everything possible to facilitate the matter.

She pointed out that the meeting comes within the framework of the efforts of the Sudanese embassy in Ankara to care for the interests of the Sudanese in Turkey and in fulfillment of the directives of the Prime Minister in connection with the evacuation of the Sudanese stranded in Iran and in coordination with our embassy in Tehran.
