Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Bank of Khartoum issued a declaration in which it caught the attention of its customers to the need to be utilized and vigilant to maintain the safety of their banking information and protect their accounts from banking and financial fraud attempts.

He said that he recently noticed an increase in the fraudulent methods targeting bank customers, as fraudsters tried to impersonate the bank employees or use fake messages and calls to obtain your personal and banking information.

He emphasized that to ensure financial safety, please adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Contact Khartoum Bank through official and approved channels only. Which is:

• Your Bank for smartphones: which is downloaded from official applications stores (Google Play or Apple Store).
• The bank’s branches in the capital and the states: for all transactions that require your personal presence.
• Customer Service via WhatsApp: 011 600 1913 via WhatsApp application

• Do not share your personal or banking information: the bank will never be asked to provide sensitive information such as credit or deduction cards numbers, or the secret numbers (PIN), verification codes (OTP), phone passwords, text messages or email.

• Beware of suspicious messages and calls: Any message or call that asks you to personal information or urge you to click on unknown links on the pretext of updating data or winning fake prizes is a fraud attempt.

• Always verify the identity of the caller: If I have any doubt about the caller’s identity, cut the call and contact the bank directly through its official official numbers.
