The Egyptian authorities announce unprecedented facilities for the Sudanese

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Egyptian authorities announced a set of unprecedented facilities aimed at facilitating the return of Sudanese refugees and residents from Egypt.

Ambassador Abdel -Qader Abdullah Consul Sudan in Aswan said that the return of the Sudanese’s return to the country was organized and that about 290,278 thousand people of returnees and the departments have returned to the country through the border land ports, two thinkers and complained from the year 2024 AD until mid -June 2025 AD who left through airports to Port Sudan and to other countries.

The Egyptian authorities emphasized that this step comes within the framework of the efforts made to support the Sudanese who live in Egypt, where they were exempted from all legal evenings and fines related to tourist residencies.

The exemption also includes renewing residences when voluntary exit through the land crossings to Sudan, which facilitates these individuals to return to their homeland without any legal obstacles.

This decision continues until the end of the year 2025, which gives the Sudanese a sufficient period of time to plan their return. This initiative comes in light of the difficult circumstances that many Sudanese face abroad, as the Egyptian government seeks to provide support and assistance in these difficult times.

These facilities are expected to reduce the psychological and social pressures that refugees and residents suffer from.
