Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The authorities in the Khartoum locality implemented a major campaign to remove slums, Rukib ​​and unorganized activities along the extension of Africa Street, east of the central market, as part of the local plan aimed at removing encroachments on the public street and organizing traffic.

During the inauguration of the campaign from the Central Market tray, the CEO of Khartoum locality, Abdel Moneim Al -Bashir, stressed that the campaign aims to open the main streets of all engineering and environmental violations, the reorganization of the markets, and the prohibition of random activities, as well as promoting public health to reduce the spread of diseases and epidemics.

Al -Bashir explained that the campaign took into account the social and economic dimensions of workers in the vicinity of the market, where spaces were allocated inside the central market campus to enable them to continue their commercial activities, within the framework of the social responsibility of the local and the market traders committee, which oversees the organization and location of small traders, in order to avoid the repeated violations and ensure that they are not damaged by procedures.
