“Bomb” turns a path – Al -Zawiya Net

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- A Saudi Airlines plane, carrying pilgrims returning from Jeddah to Jakarta, turned its path after receiving a threat to a bomb, and landed in Sumatra.

The SV 5276 flight was carrying 442 passengers, they were 207 men and 235 women, heading to Jakarta International Airport when it had to change its course after a threat of a bomb sent via email.

The Indonesian Civil Aviation Directorate reported that it was reported from the Indonesian airport operator on Tuesday morning by receiving “a threat to a bomb that was sent by an unknown via email.”

The pilot turned the plane’s path to the city of Midan, on the island of Sumatra.

The passengers were evacuated before the mine removal unit began to search the plane, according to the airline statement.
