The armed and joint forces succeeded in repelling the attack, killing dozens and destroying 12 combat vehicles, according to preliminary sources, before the clashes were eager, calm prevailed again to Al -Fasher and dominated the situation.

Sources said that the militia launched a major attack on the city of El -Fasher from several axes, targeting the defenses and areas of the army’s control, the joint and the enlightening, and the attack began with a violent artillery blogging that continued from two o’clock after midnight until six in the morning.

She emphasized that the land attack began at six o’clock in the morning and the strength of these attacking forces is the militia strategic battalion, which is considered one of the forces with qualitative military armament, where the new armored combat vehicles and other military equipment.

She pointed out that the militia forces began progressing towards the areas of control of the army, the joint and the enlightening, through the eastern axis, the northern axis and the northeastern axis, and the militia forces’ attack was also accompanied by blogging, and by bombing through the marches, which tried to target the army artillery that was targeting the militia forces fiercely, but failed to neutralize them.

She noted that the battles in the axes were very fierce between the army, the joint and the enlightened forces with the militia forces, and it lasted for more than four continuous hours, and the army marches participated effectively in the battle, and the militia forces tried to use thick smoke as a cover and protection from the marches, but this plan did not succeed, and the marches were able to reach them.

The battle ended and the militia forces forced to withdraw from the confrontation and return to its old pillars, after it found very solid resistance from the defending forces.
