The Prime Minister makes statements from the port of Port Sudan

Port Sudan- Al-Zawiya Net- The Prime Minister, the transitional, Dr. Kamel Idris, stressed the necessity of making the leadership and employees of the Maritime Ports Authority, the maximum effort, to become a competitor at the level of the Red Sea basin.

He stressed that the government will seek to provide the necessary needs to achieve this.

The Prime Minister, accompanied by the governor of the Red Sea State, Lieutenant -General Mustafa Mohamed Nour, stood today, on the progress of work in the southern port and the (Damma Dima) port, and is known for the needs of the ports.

Engineer Rashid Abdel Rahman Ahmed, Acting Director of the Maritime Ports Authority, said in press statements that the Prime Minister stressed the importance of making the utmost effort to advance the port. He added, “We will implement this directive, and we will work with dedication.”

He added, “The Prime Minister informed us of the authority’s needs of spare parts to achieve zero waves time for any ship entering the port basin,” noting that the Prime Minister stressed the government’s endeavor to provide all the required needs, promising that the authority will achieve a high link during the next stage.

The Acting Director of Ports indicated that the visit reflects the interest of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in the important economic cultivation in the country, and gives a great motivation to the body, which is considered one of the largest national economic pillars.
