A crazy rise in the prices of return tickets from Egypt

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The cost of travel tickets between Egypt and Sudan has increased by more than twice during the past two days, affected by the return of large groups of Sudanese residing in Egypt to Sudan, with the advent of Eid al-Adha.

The prices of return tickets from Cairo and Alexandria to the capital, Khartoum, witnessed an increase from 2000 Egyptian pounds during the month of May to 4500 pounds at once since the beginning of June.

According to “Al -Arabi Al -Jadeed”, during a tour between the centers of assembly of Sudanese travelers from the Egyptian capital, central and east of the capital, Cairo, over the past two days, it monitored the double number of passenger buses from an average of 80 to 300 buses per day, in addition to increasing the number of buses from Alexandria, Luxor and Aswan, where the clusters of the Sudanese who came to Egypt, after the war between the rapid support forces and the army and the Sudanese government, are concentrated 2023, which led to the flight of about 4 million Sudanese towards the Egyptian border.

The Egyptian authorities have agreed to operate about 300 boss to transport the Sudanese from Egypt to Sudan instead of 80 bars per day, some of which start from the capital and the north of the country, Alexandria, heading to the Arqin Al -Bari crossing and others from Luxor and Aswan in the south of the valley heading to the Qastal crossing to serve the returnees from southern Egypt.

Officials at the Sudanese embassy in Cairo expect that the number of returnees this month will reach about 500 thousand Sudanese, in a movement that is the largest of its kind since the outbreak of military battles in Sudan.
